Marilyn Bergeron was 24 years old when she disappeared in Quebec on February 17, 2008, leaving behind a mystery still unresolved today.
A week earlier he left Montreal precipitously and returned from his family to Quebec. He had confided to be afraid, but without explaining clearly what had happened to her.
Years later, a former student companion publicly reported a conversation a few weeks before his death. Seeing her deeply distressed, she asked her if she had witnessed a murder. According to his testimony, Marilyn would have responded to him that what he had lived was “weight”, without adding other details.
On the morning of 17 February Marilyn left the parents' house. Shortly after 11:00 a.m., he was taken from the security camera of an ATM in Loretteville, where he attempted to perform an operation; in the images he appeared while looking back several times.
At 16:03 he bought a coffee in a Café Dépôt in Saint-Romuald. This is Marilyn's last officially confirmed sighting.
Since then it has not been possible to establish with certainty what has happened to her. We don't even know if the episode that deeply upset her was linked to her subsequent disappearance.
After years, Marilyn Bergeron's case remains unresolved.
