A photographer leaves Paraguay looking for new opportunities. Years later he found himself working a few meters from the most famous Spider-Man of his generation. And the coincidence seems written by a screenwriter.
Richard Aguilar is from CaaguazĂș, Paraguay. He is a professional photographer, but his path has taken him to Spain, where he also works as a gardener in Ibiza.
And it is precisely during a normal day of work that its history has taken a very cinematic turn.
During his work, Richard met several times Tobey Maguire, the actor who in the early 2000s gave his face to Peter Parker in the Spider-Man trilogy directed by Sam Raimi.
Richard told that Maguire showed himself very kind to him and his colleagues.
During one of these meetings, Richard also managed to take a photograph with the actor.
And then he couldn't resist the joke.
On social media he joked that he had received from Maguire "private lessons on how to climb on the walls".
But there is a detail that makes the meeting even more curious.
Richard is a photographer.
Just the craft with which Peter Parker, the character portrayed by Maguire, tried to keep while secretly leading his life as Spider-Man.
Of course Richard does not work for the Daily Bugle and this time behind the camera was not Peter Parker.
However, there was a man from Paraguay looking for a new chapter of his life, who ended up meeting during his daily work the actor who interpreted one of the most famous photographers of pop culture.
One of those coincidences that, in the screenplay of a movie, could even seem too perfect.
And instead it happened during a normal day of work in Ibiza.
What would you have told Tobey Maguire to find him in front of him like this without notice?
