For three years Princess Leonor followed a path that did not provide preferential lanes. He chose to follow the same military training as the other cadets, respecting the same rules, facing the same tests and passing the same tests.

His journey began at the General Military Academy of Zaragoza, continued with naval training on board the school ship *Juan Sebastián de Elcano* and ended with aeronautical training.

It is precisely during this last phase that has reached an unprecedented milestone for the Spanish royal family. At the Accademia Militare Paracadutisti of Alcantarilla completed the basic course of parachute, carrying out several launches, including one at night, and conquering the badge of military parachute.

On July 10, he officially completed the training course with his classmates, becoming the first future queen of Spain, after almost one hundred and fifty years, to complete such a complete military journey.

A result that also demonstrates the evolution of the role of the Spanish monarchy. If once the heir to the throne was prepared mainly for institutional representation, today the formation includes direct experiences and shared responsibilities with those who serve in the Armed Forces.

Archived the uniform, a new chapter opens for Leonor. From September a path of studies in Political Science will begin, continuing its preparation with an academic path intended to accompany it in the responsibilities that the future will reserve.
