For three years Sandra Bullock has guarded a pain that almost nobody knew. As he led a life farther away from the spotlight, his partner Bryan Randall was facing the SLA. He chose privacy. She and her family respected that choice until the end.

On August 5, 2023, Bryan Randall died.
She was 57.

"Bryan had chosen from the beginning to keep his path private with the SLA and we who took care of him did our best to honor his request," he explained the family announcing his death.
Only then did it become public what Bryan and the closest people had chosen to keep private for three years.
Sandra Bullock and Bryan Randall had begun their relationship in 2015 and had built over the years a family life maintained, as far as possible, far from the spotlight.
Even in front of the disease they kept the same confidentiality.
