For a few minutes it really seemed that the legendary Trojan horse had managed to fool everyone... even in a cinema.
A group of boys built a large wooden horse inspired by the famous Trojan Horse stratagem. The idea was as simple as it was bold: enter the first of the Troy film by buying one ticket.
The plan was studied in detail. One of them would have pushed the horse pretending it was part of a costume, while two other friends would have been hidden inside the structure.
The most amazing part is that, initially, the project seemed to work.
They were able to pass the initial controls and validate the only ticket without causing any particular suspicion. For a few moments it seemed that the famous cunning of the Trojans was to be rewritten in a modern version.
The mission, however, stopped shortly after.
As they headed to the hall, security workers noticed the huge wooden horse and stopped the group. The reason was simple: a structure of that size could not be introduced inside the cinema.
Despite this, the staff's reaction was far from severe. One of the people, amused by the idea, admitted smiling to appreciate the inventiveness of the boys, recognizing how original their attempt was.
Their plan did not enter history as the one narrated in ancient poems. But he showed that even after thousands of years, the Trojan Horse continues to inspire imagination... and some findings capable of tearing a smile.
