Minimishi is a cat. The problem is, growing surrounded by dogs, seems to have never received the information.
His story began on a bus in Maipú, Chile.
A woman approached Paz Medina and gave her a newly born kitten. Her mother died and that little girl needed someone to take care of her.
Paz accepted.
That's how Minimishi entered his life.
But waiting for her, there was not a family of human beings.
There were also big dogs.
Minimishi grew up with them and began to take quite unusual habits for a cat.
He learned to go out with his chest.
He literally slept over his fellow canines.
And when he met other cats he could even snarl against them, almost as strangers.
But at six months that cohabitation risked to end the worst.
During a game, Minimishi jumped to a German shepherd.
The dog bit her.
The kitten remained unconscious on a tree and it was necessary to intervene to save it. In the accident, he lost a tooth.
He survived.
And that missing canine, which still makes its muse particular, has become almost the visible sign of the history that carries with it.
However, there is an important clarification.
From the scientific point of view there is no category of "cats that become dogs". An ethologist consulted on his case explained that there is no evidence of the existence of real "canine cats".
But there are enormous individual differences.
Some cats can sincerely appreciate walks along with people with whom they live and develop behaviors influenced by the environment in which they grew up.
And maybe that's what makes Minimishi interesting.
He's not a dog trapped in a cat's body.
She is a cat raised in a family in which, since her early days, most of her companions had four legs, a tail and barking.
Today she still lives in Maipú along with Paz and three dogs.

He continues to share with them spaces, habits and moments of rest.
Minimishi does not need to know which species his companions belong to.
I'm just the family she grew up with.
