He jumped on the plane convinced that someone had taken his place. He was actually looking... himself.
In 2015, Scotland's Neil Douglas was on a direct Ryanair flight to Ireland when he noticed a passenger sitting in his place. Approaching to ask him to move, he was completely speechless.
The man in front of him had his own face.
Same body, same reddish beard, almost identical features. He seemed to look in the mirror. Yet they had never met before.
The other passenger was Robert Stirling, an Englishman without any kinship with Neil.
Incredulous as other travelers, they decided to capture that moment with a photograph directly on board the plane. The shot soon began to circulate on social media and newspapers around the world, leaving thousands of people to wonder how such a perfect resemblance could be.

Later, when they arrived in Galway, the two found themselves randomly in the same hotel. This time they decided to get acquainted with a beer, turning a surreal meeting into a story to tell.
